From the Heart

As an older brother I really struggle with the heart. It is so important to get right. I spend so much of my time trying to do everything right I neglect heart matters. The problem with this is, what ever is in our hearts is what comes out in our lives. Just listen to Jesus.

The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45 (NIV)

What is stored up in your heart? Work, hobbies, stuff, sin or love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Think about it. Join me as I continuously try to retrain a hard heart.
